El Municipio de Esteban Echeverría desplegó operativos de fumigación y desinfección con el fin de evitar el contagio de enfermedades virales.
Para erradicar la presencia del mosquito Aedes aegypti y prevenir el contagio de enfermedades como dengue, zika y fiebre chikungunya, los equipos municipales fumigaron el barrio San Roque (Monte Grande Sur). Estas tareas se replican semanalmente en distintas zonas del distrito.
A su vez, se realizaron tareas de desinfección en los centros de vacunación ubicados en Bruzone y Rondeau (Monte Grande) y en Bruzone esquina Colonia Monte Grande (Luis Guillón). De esta forma, la comuna busca disminuir el riesgo de contagio de COVID-19. Estos trabajos continúan cada semana en distintos barrios del municipio.
